Our in-home organizing services are for you if you struggle with the amount of stuff in your home, can’t seem to get a handle on systems and functionality that works for you and your family, or are struggling due to other life transitions. We know how to help you prioritize your home’s pain points and take you from chaos to calm, quickly.
Maybe you are preparing for an upcoming move and either need help with pre-move purging or post-move settling in - or both. Our new home setup service will help you conquer the overwhelm of moving - decluttering, planning what goes where, and then actually unpacking it all and organizing it - logically and efficiently. We learn about your lifestyle and determine the best layout and organizational systems for your family so that you can thrive in your new home.
Led by owner and founder Meghan Cocchiaro, the team at Organized by Meg declutters your home in preparation for moving, renovating, repurposing a space, or getting a home better organized. We sort and categorize your things and then help you make decisions about what to do with them. We also remove the items you no longer want and discard them or donate them promptly and responsibly.
Once the decluttering phase is complete during a home organizing or moving project, we organize what you have left, taking care of every project detail. We design and space plan, implement necessary organizing products and create custom labels at the end. The result is a beautiful yet functional system customized to your household’s needs.
No matter the project, we organize utilizing a “whole home approach” which ensures that we are taking into account all aspects of your home and lifestyle even when organizing just a single space. The logic here is that every room inevitably affects another so the entire home should have an overarching organizing system in place.
In the end, we will show you how to best maintain your home’s new systems to keep your project looking as good as it does the day we finish. We also encourage you to book regular concierge maintenance sessions with us to reset and refresh your systems if you need help keeping up or for routine seasonal changes.

THE DETAILS:
Whether you have been in your home awhile or we are unpacking you in a new one, we apply our signature REAL simple organizing process:
Removal and sorting of items from your space or moving boxes into “like” categories
Editing and minimizing the contents to keep (also known as purging)
Assigning a home and creating a system (using organizing products where necessary) for all of the keep items
Labeling the system for easy maintenance and a polished look
We provide organizational products from our own inventory plus we source supplemental products customized to your project based on the needs of each space, your desired aesthetic and budget (costs of products not included)
We make and apply custom labels to every project to the degree they are necessary or desired (included in all projects)
Pricing packages are all-inclusive, with the same rates applying to all in-home services, ranging from a minimum booking of $1,100 up to $10,000+ for a whole-home project (product costs are budgeted separately)
Paid consultations are offered for expert input on designing organizational aspects of new closets or new homes (this can be in addition to your interior design and general contractor)
